According to the Nevada Revised Statutes, NRS 391.0347 and Regulation 130-18, initial licensees require at least 3 semester hours or 45 in-service hours of coursework in Multicultural Education that includes the goals and elements of Regulation 130-18. The coursework must be completed after the initial issuance of a conditional license and prior to being issued a Standard license. This law took effect after July 2019.<\/p>\n
