While some of the required admission requirements from South Carolina Department of Education have kept many people out of the program &#8211; we still managed to help many new teachers get their start in the career and help our school district partners get the staff they need.<\/p>\n<p>South Carolina Teachers performance this year &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1,344 new potential teachers inquired about the program<\/li>\n<li>1,014 new people applied to South Carolina Teachers<\/li>\n<li>300 new potential teachers enrolled in South Carolina Teachers<\/li>\n<li>57 new teachers were hired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We looking forward to many more of our enrolled candidates becoming South Carolina teachers in 2020.
