The Expo attracts jobseekers from across the United States and several foreign countries. This year&#8217;s Expo will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia, SC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The South Carolina Teacher Expo is open to certified teachers, recent college graduates of teacher education programs, and applicants who have applied to and met admission criteria for an approved alternative certification program in South Carolina. This year&#8217;s Expo is open to candidates from all subject areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerra.org\/teacher-expo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click Here To Register<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerra.org\/teacher-expo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cerra.org\/uploads\/1\/7\/6\/8\/17684955\/2019-20-cerra-regional-map_orig.jpg\" alt=\"Picture\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Registered Districts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg One, Bamberg Two, Barnwell 29, Barnwell 45, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun Charleston, The Charter Institute at Erskine, Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon One, Clarendon Two, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon Four, Dorchester Two, Dorchester Four, Fairfield, Florence One, Florence Three, Florence Four, Florence Five, Georgetown, Greenville, Hampton One, Hampton Two, Horry, Jasper, Kershaw, Lancaster, Laurens 55, Laurens 56, Lee, Lexington One, Lexington Two, Lexington Three, Lexington Four, Lexington\/Richland Five, Marion, Marlboro, McCormick, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland Two, Saluda, Spartanburg Seven, SC Public Charter School District, Sumter, Union, Williamsburg, York One, York Two (Clover), York Three (Rock Hill), &amp; York Four (Fort Mill).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The list above is subject to change. District recruiters will continue registering through mid-February 2020. CERRA does not make any guarantee that recruiters from the districts listed will attend the Expo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2020 Agenda:<\/strong><br \/>\n9:30 &#8211; 10:00 &#8211; Participant check-in<br \/>\n10:00 &#8211; 12:30 &#8211; Participants visit district booths. Interviews scheduled<br \/>\n12:30 &#8211; 1:00 &#8211; Lunch break (lunch not provided)<br \/>\n\u200b1:00 &#8211; 4:00 &#8211; Pre-scheduled interviews \/ Participants will not be able to visit district booths unless they have a scheduled interview.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Items To Bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u200bYou should bring multiple copies of each document; a copying machine will not be available on site.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Teaching Certificate*, if currently certified in South Carolina or any other state<\/li>\n<li>Letter of Eligibility, if issued by the SC Dept. of Education, due to pending certification status (Teachers of Tomorrow, CATE, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License, Social Security card, or other proof of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Resume<\/li>\n<li>Dress to Professional* For more information about certification, contact the Office of Educator Certification at the South Carolina Department of Education, by mail at 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia, SC, 29223, by phone at 803-896-0325 between the hours of 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm, or online at http:\/\/ed.sc.gov\/educators\/certification\/<br \/>\nMap of South Carolina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u200bWe strongly encourage all participants to set up a profile and post and application on the SC Online Educator Employment System.<\/p>\n<p>Also, if you have not already applied for certification in South Carolina, you should do so prior to attending the SC Teacher Expo.
