Now there are teachers affected by Hurricane Florence &#8211; and you can help!<\/p>\n<p>Donors Choose has set up a specific area so that teachers affected by Hurricane Florence can get help for their classrooms.\u00a0 From the Donors Choose site &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>DonorsChoose.org has created a recovery fund to help teachers at impacted schools create projects for the disaster recovery materials they need in the coming weeks. Every dollar donated at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.donorschoose.org\/hurricane-florence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DonorsChoose.org\/Hurricane-Florence<\/a>\u00a0will be used to fund a classroom project in a school affected by Florence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Damaged Schools<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the storm,\u00a0if you know of a public school that has sustained severe damage, please\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfXigwRam2YwXa4Jijl8XSisISOvcQ_jn4DVky5nLn8w7ALPw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit a report<\/a>\u00a0to our team.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve confirmed early reports of damage at the following schools, and will continue to update as we receive new information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lumberton High School, Robeson County, NC<\/li>\n<li>White Oak High School, Onslow County, NC<\/li>\n<li>Topsail Elementary School, Pender County, NC<\/li>\n<li>Midway Elementary School, Davidson County, NC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We know that so many of you were affected by Hurricane Harvey and we were able to get a lot of help for classrooms.
