HOUSTON, TX \u2013 August 30, 2017 \u2013 Teachers of Tomorrow announced that it is offering full scholarships for substitutes and paraprofessionals who want to become fully certified teachers.\u00a0 The organization has created a web page for those interested in the scholarship to become a teacher for each state where the program is accepted.<\/p>\n

\u201cSubstitutes and Paraprofessionals become the most successful teachers in our program. By providing scholarships to these groups, we can better address a growing teacher shortage,\u201d said Vernon Reaser, CEO of Teachers of Tomorrow. \u201cSubstitutes and paraprofessionals already know the culture, the students, the teachers and the staff in our partner schools \u2013 it makes sense that they would be best suited to fill critical shortage areas.\u201d<\/p>\n

In order to qualify for the full teacher scholarship, substitutes and paraprofessionals must be qualified to become a teacher in their state so they must have a degree from an accredited institution.
