By providing scholarships to these groups, we can better address a growing teacher shortage,\u201d said Vernon Reaser, CEO of Teachers of Tomorrow. \u201cSubstitutes and paraprofessionals already know the culture, the students, the teachers and the staff in our partner schools \u2013 it makes sense that they would be best suited to fill critical shortage areas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In order to qualify for the full teacher scholarship, substitutes and paraprofessionals must be qualified to become a teacher in their state so they must have a degree from an accredited institution. They must compete the online scholarship application and the full Teachers of Tomorrow application.
