Indiana CORE Assessments for Educator Licensure Website

On June 4, 2019 the Indiana CORE Assessments for Educator Licensure website will begin featuring a responsive design. The website responsive design will simplify the experience candidates have when accessing the program website to view information or register for a test, regardless of the type of device being used. The website format will automatically adjust to accommodate viewing and use based on the device (e.g., tablet, desktop computer, and phone).

Beginning June 24, 2019: changes to the administration of the Indiana Core Academic Skills Assessment (CASA)

Beginning June 24, 2019, the Core Academic Skills Assessment (CASA) will be available at computer-based testing locations outside of Indiana. Additional information and testing locations will be available on the Indiana CORE Assessments for Educator Licensure website by early June 2019.

In addition, effective June 24, 2019, fifteen (15) minutes of time will be added to the Core Academic Skills Assessment (CASA) Mathematics subtest. Candidates who take the Mathematics subtest on or after June 24, 2019 will have an additional 15 minutes to complete the test.

Registration for the CASA Mathematics subtest with the additional 15 minutes in the testing session will become available on June 24, 2019.

Candidates who are scheduled to take the Mathematics subtest prior to June 24, 2019, and would like to test with increased test time should cancel their test appointment (prior to 24 hours before the appointment) from the Indiana CORE Assessments for Educator Licensure program website. Candidates should Log in to their account, click “Cancel,” and follow the instructions provided.

Candidates who are currently scheduled to take the Mathematics subtest after June 24, 2019 will receive a separate communication from the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson by early May.
