Our teacher training program offers a research-based curriculum focused on preparing the teachers of tomorrow. Comprehensive Training in Two Phases


Nevada Teachers coursework is divided into two phases. Phase I: Classroom Readiness Training is completed before entering the classroom and consists of teacher training coursework and Field Based Experiences (FBEs). FBEs are introductory classroom experiences which involve reflective observation of EC-12 students, teachers, and campus staff members engaging in educational activities in a school setting. Phase II: Excellence in Teaching and Learning is completed during your Internship Year. The specific coursework is dependent upon the state standards required for your desired are of licensure, which is presented to you in your Personal Education Plan provided by Nevada Teachers.
