You are well on your way toward becoming a teacher! We’re here to help you #GetReady for hiring season! Soon, thousands of teaching positions will open up and we want to make sure you’re first in line! Let nothing come between your dream of becoming a teacher by ensuring you stay on track and complete all program requirements to become eligible to teach. Come August, you could teaching in your very own classroom!

Complete Your Pre-Service Training

Right now is the perfect time to start our program and complete your Pre-Serice Training requirements in order to land your dream job this fall. When you complete your Pre-Service Training, you will become eligible to teach!

As required by the Arizona Department of Education, all candidates must complete 45 required hours of the state-approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) course. Once enrolled in Arizona Teachers, you will gain instant access to your SEI course through our partner, Educational Solutions. The course generally takes 1-2 weeks to complete and consists of 9 online modules.


Finish all pre-service courses listed in the Training Progress section of your Intern Portal to keep track of your progress. You must complete all courses listed under the ‘Required Courses’ tab.



Field-Based Experience (FBE) hours are reflective observations of EC-12 students, teachers, and faculty/staff members engaging in educational activities in a school setting. You must complete 9 Field-Based Experience (FBE) Hours; all 9 hours may be completed fully online!
