All you have to pay to get started is $245! This up-front cost gives you immediate access to your online training and all the resources you need to get started! The remaining balance of $4,250 is deducted in equal installments once you are hired and is completely contingent upon you getting a full-time teaching position!

You can get started now! We have rolling admissions throughout the year, all you need is your official transcript.

If you do our training and decide teaching is not for you, the remaining balance of the program fee is not due, it is completely contingent upon getting hired.

Currently there are no options for admission into the program if your GPA is below a 2.5.

You are eligible for hire once the Classroom Readiness training and Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework is complete, and your Alternative Teaching Certificate has been issued by the Arizona Department of Education.

You are eligible for the certificate as soon as you complete your Classroom Readiness training and Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework for elementary education or secondary education. You will apply for your Alternative Teaching Certificate with the Arizona Department of Education.

You can send your official transcripts multiple ways. The quickest method to get started is for your university to send electronic official transcripts to transcripts@arizonateachers.org. If your university does not have this as an option, you can mail official transcripts to our National Headquarters: Teachers of Tomorrow 2401 Fountain View Dr., Suite 700 Houston, TX 77057.

The length of the program is up to you! Our online training is self-paced* and made for you to do on your own time, so if you are currently working it’s not a problem at all! You do have to complete a full year internship, so once you have completed your online training you can then starting looking for your new career.

Certification varies state to state, so contact each states department of education that you are looking to move to verify the reciprocation process.

The Alternative Teaching Certificate is the temporary certificate you’ll have while completing the internship with our program. The Standard Professional Certificate is issued upon completion of the program. The Standard Certificate is valid for 12 years and is renewable.

No, you do not need classroom experience. Our program is designed for all types of candidates, including those who have never stepped foot inside a classroom.

Yes, you will be required to complete a fingerprinting background check through the Arizona Department of Education to receive a Alternative Teaching Certificate.

  • National Evaluation Series (NES) Subject Knowledge Exam: $95- $120
  • National Evaluation Series (NES) Professional Knowledge Exam: $95
  • Constitutions of the United States and Arizona Exam: $90
  • Standard Professional Certificate: $60

During your internship year, you are paid as a full time teacher of record.

We have plenty of resources to help guide you through the interview process, including resume review specialists.

With our program you can work for public school districts but you can also work for accredited Private & Charter Schools.

Yes, having a completed Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university is a requirement for admission into our program.

Yes! We offer full program scholarships to individuals who are not yet enrolled in the program. Our scholarship period opens on October 1st. Visit our Scholarship Homepage to view available scholarships and learn how to qualify.
