Right now is the perfect time to start our program and complete your Pre-Serice Training requirements in order to land your dream job this fall. When you complete your Pre-Service Training, you will become eligible to teach! Before accepting employment, you must provide your district with a Statement of Eligibility (SOE), marked ‘Eligible’ from the Florida Department of Education. This confirms you are enrolled with Florida Teachers and are eligible for employment.
Test preparation is an essential component to helping you prepare for the classroom. We encourage you to register and secure your testing date as soon as possible, as many testing centers have limited availability and are operating at reduced capacity. Even if you are not yet prepared to take your test, register for it now.
Let’s #GetReady! While you don’t need to finish your online coursework before you start teaching, it’s a good idea to start working on it! We encourage you to finish all pre-service courses listed in the Training Progress section of your Intern Portal. You must complete all courses listed under the ‘Required Courses’ tab.
