Q: How do I qualify to become a District Select candidate?

A: To qualify to become a District Select candidate, you enroll with Teachers of Tomorrow, complete the district’s application process, be offered and accept a position with the district, and be chosen by the district to participate in their District Select program.

Q: How much of the cost will be covered?

A:If chosen by the district to participate in their District Select program, your fees will be covered 100%. You will also receive the benefits listed above at no charge to you.

Q: Am I guaranteed to have my fees covered if I am hired by a District Select partner?

A: District Select candidates are chosen at the discretion of the district based on their certification needs and spaces are limited. Some candidates hired by a District Select partner may not be chosen to participate in their District Select program and will be required to pay their own program fees once hired and placed on a certificate.

Q: How will I know if I am chosen as a District Select candidate?

A: If hired by one of our District Select partners listed above, the district will notify you if you are chosen as a District Select candidate. If chosen, the district may have specific District Select forms to complete.
