To receive The Good Teacher Discount, you must currently be teaching on a valid Standard or Professional Certificate. Your employing school must write a letter of recommendation on your behalf.

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Typed or written on your school’s letterhead
• Composed by a superior (i.e., principal, department head, etc.)
• States contact information of the recommender (name, title, phone number)
• Contains between 50-250 words
• Explains why you deserve The Good Teacher Discount
• Signed and dated by the recommender
• Emailed directly from the recommender to teach@michiganteachers.org

Please note: Michigan Teachers reserves the right to reach out to your recommender to verify the authenticity of the letter. Failure to comply with the above instructions may result in denial of The Good Teacher Discount.
