We recognize that as you begin your journey to become a teacher, everyone comes from a different background. Your previous experience is valued, which is why we have created various enrollment paths to apply to our program. We’ll meet you on your path and work together to develop your personalized strategy to become a certified teacher!
Our program is not ‘one size fits all,’ which is why we offer five different enrollment paths – each has its own unique requirements to offer you multiply routes to qualify! Take our fun, short, interactive quiz to discover your enrollment path, and be sure to review the requirements!
After you have found your path and confirmed your eligibility by reviewing your set of enrollment path requirements, it’s time to submit your FREE application. Submitting an application requires no obligation and should take less than a minute to complete!
To expedite your application, send us the required documents for your path! All applicants will need to send official university transcripts. The fastest method is for your university to send transcripts electronically to transcripts@texasteachers.org. Alternatively, you may mail them to our Houston office.
While we process your transcripts, you will receive an email questionnaire if you are following the Traditional Path. If you are following an alternative path, or if any other information is required, you will receive a phone call from an Enrollment Advisor to outline your next steps. Be sure to monitor your email for your official Admission Offer! To formally accept, follow the link provided, and submit your one-time, low enrollment fee!
