Texas Teachers is excited to announce Kathy Schreiber-Clark as the new Director of Classroom Support. This crucial role manages and supports our many Professional Coaches as they work one-on-one with our teachers in classrooms across the state. The Director of Classroom Support offers guidance to coaches on a variety of issues including teaching strategies, building strong relationships, and overcoming challenges. Kathy will travel across the state this summer to continue developing our professional coaches as they prepare for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year. Kathy has a tremendous amount of skill, experience and knowledge that make her a perfect fit for the role of Director of Classroom Support. She has over 30 years in education, the last 20 of which were specifically working with Alternative Certification. Kathy co-founded Texas Teachers 10 years ago, and she has been instrumental in developing Texas Teachers into the nation’s largest and most successful ACP. Recently, Kathy was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to a new committee designed to provide new ideas for supporting and mentoring teachers across Texas. Texas Teachers is fortunate to have someone with Kathy’s wealth of knowledge and expertise to further our organizational focus of providing the highest quality certification program through exceptional training and classroom support.
