Adopt A Classroom

Making a Difference... Together.

Throughout Texas and Around the World

The Texas Teachers’ Adopt a Classroom Initiative was set up in response to Hurricane Harvey. We wanted to support teachers and students that were affected by the storm and connect them with other classrooms, businesses and individuals that wanted to help. Over 2,000 donors were matched with more than 500 classrooms to help these teachers and students replace what they had lost in the hurricane.

Since then, we wanted to keep spreading the kindness. Texas Teachers visited a school in Kenya, Africa with donations and a day of getting to know them and learning about their school. A GoFundMe.com campaign was established and is currently raising desperately needed funds for the Ntubmuri Mixed Day School.

Our goal is simple, bring people together to help in education. Help the teachers, help the students, help the community… together.
