PACT, TEA, PPR – What do they mean? Becoming a certified teacher in Texas does have requirements, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. At Texas Teachers of Tomorrow our goal is to make the path to teaching a clear process. By starting now, this clear path can have you in the classroom this August! Through years of being the largest program in the nation, we have honed the methods to provide the necessary tools and resources to our future teachers with their end goal in mind- be a leader in the classroom – all by this coming school year.
By now, you have now probably seen the New 2020 TEA Requirements. While this may seem confusing, we’ve got your back! We have been anticipating and preparing for these changes for months, so we are ready to walk you through what is required- taking all guesswork off you. By starting now, you can tackle these changes in time to have your very own classroom this coming school year.
From the moment you have an interest in our program, we are ready to support and guide you. Our application to get started is short, simple and clear. While enrolling, you will speak with an expert Enrollment Advisor to individually walk you through your clear personalized plan to teach. Here you will be guided through the required areas that include: TExES, Content Exam, Online Training Courses (that prepare you for classroom readiness), and Field-Based Experience / Observation Hours. Once enrolled, you will immediately have access to our research-based curriculum designed to prepare teachers to lead in the classroom. We will be ready to support you every day through your journey by assigning you a personal Program Advisor. Once all your required areas are completed, you will be advised if you have to pass the PACT Exam (new TEA Requirement). While many programs take years to complete, our program can get you hired in as fast as three months.
Get started on the clearest path, today!
