Today, we introduce Gregory Mitchell, an 8th grade Social Studies teacher and proud 2025 Teachers of Tomorrow graduate.

A Purpose-Driven Path
Gregory’s passion for education is grounded in a desire to shape compassionate, thoughtful citizens.
“I believe in the power of education to shape not only minds but also hearts.”
He saw teaching as an opportunity to lead by example and positively influence future generations through character, kindness, and care.
Finding His Footing
Teachers of Tomorrow provided the flexibility and structure Gregory needed to successfully transition into the classroom.
“The name itself—Teachers of Tomorrow—reminded me I was part of something bigger.”
One of Gregory’s most meaningful moments came early in his career when he took over a classroom mid-year and quickly earned the trust of the outgoing teacher.
“When she told me she felt confident leaving the class in my hands, it was incredibly reassuring.”
Staying Grounded
Each day in the classroom continues to teach Gregory just as much as he teaches his students.
“Teaching has allowed me to pour into the lives of young people—and learn about my own patience, strength, and purpose.”
His advice to future educators:
“This is more than delivering lessons. It’s about being a steady, reliable figure in your students’ lives.”
