Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary – Email – PPC – Website

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Teachers of Tomorrow’s email program (Marketing Cloud), Website, and PPC for B2C and B2B communication as a sales driving channel. This position reports to the Marketing Director and will follow established best practices with a strong desire to reach set goals in a team environment. The position is a critical link between Teachers of Tomorrow and our potential customers as well as existing customers who move through the certification process. The certification process can take a few months for some and years for others. They will develop marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure we have the right touch points with our potential customers and existing customers and we have the right frequency of outreach.  This is a position that requires the successful candidate to be independent in making and implementing decisions that significantly impact the company’s most critical revenue sources. The right person for this role must be goal oriented with demonstrated written communication skills, design skills as well as an ability to leverage email to promote company growth. They must be an outgoing, enthusiastic communicator with people at all levels of an organization.


  • Develop, strategize, implement, and manage all digital marketing campaigns to potential Teachers of Tomorrow customers including managing leads and drip campaigns to leads
  • Develop, strategize, implement, and manage the website, PPC social media, email and text communications to all Teachers of Tomorrow applicants as they move through the sales funnel from applicant to fully hired teacher
  • Analyze and track data from email and text campaigns to inform decisions on future campaigns made by the successful candidate
  • Track and demonstrate improvements in sales funnel conversion through email campaign improvements
  • Analyze competitor marketing efforts to ensure Teachers of Tomorrow stays on the leading edge

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience designing emails for mass distribution
  • Expert Experience with Marketing Cloud/Salesforce
  • Familiarity with email drip campaign automation
  • Experience in tracking email data, formulating reports and conducting A/B testing
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Word Press
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or comparative program
  • Work in a team environment
  • Experience in Google Ads and Facebook Ads
  • Quick learner who can adjust to change and growth
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Marketing Internship

Texas Teachers of Tomorrow is providing opportunity for recent college and university graduates to gain supervised practical marketing experience. The selected student will be supporting the marketing department with branding, marketing, website development, communications, social media, etc.


Location: Houston, Texas Office


  • B2C Marketing – Assist Marketing Director with tactical execution of marketing programs. As a key part of the Teachers of Tomorrow marketing team, a selected student will gain valuable insight into business-to-business sales support, customer support programs, digital initiatives (supporting, print collateral projects, public relations, and trade show / event marketing.
  • Consumer Marketing – the selected student may work on advertising, public relations and other communications projects including updating web site content, editing and coordinating distribution of email newsletters, communicating with internal customers and outside vendors, creating customer presentations, coordinating engine and other photography, compiling marketing research data, developing new products and new product introductions and other projects.
  • Service Marketing – Support marketing activities including product development, market and competitive research, literature creation, online content management, spreadsheet design, sales tracking and trade show preparation.
  • BSPP Marketing – the selective student will help develop various point-of-purchase materials, update web site content, do store walks to update/maintain comp shops for various product categories/retailers, coordinate product/application photo shoots, and assist with trade show planning; the student will be expected to work closely with TOT sales team and external vendors.

Field Supervisor

Texas Teachers’ Field Supervisors are former superintendents, administrators, and directors with more than 15 years of experience, who have had distinguished and successful teaching careers of their own. These experts in the education field are carefully selected, screened, and trained, with each one possessing the qualifications to support new teachers. The Field Supervisor’s main goal is to increase and enhance individual teacher effectiveness by providing interns support, guidance, oral and written feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit observation reports to Texas Teachers by set deadlines.
  • Document observations on electronic portal.
  • Provide constructive and relevant feedback on classroom observations.
  • Communicate with Texas Teachers staff, district/campus administrators on teachers’ progress and performance.
  • Review electronic portal for additions, updates and deadlines.
  • Offer emotional support by listening, encouraging and sharing experiences.
  • Provide remediation for interns experiencing problems via field experience.
  • Help interns navigate Intern Portal on Texas Teachers website.
  • Create a partnership with intern and administrator.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Candidate Profile

  • Must hold a valid Educator certificate in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 15 years teaching experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience.
  • Must be willing to commute within 50 miles.
  • Must have flexible schedule.
  • Must be proficient in basic technology skills including but not limited to email, Microsoft Word, scanning documents, PDF files, etc.
  • T-TESS Certified preferred.
