Arizona Teachers had a pretty incredible year in helping solve the Arizona Teaching shortage – and we are just getting started. We worked hard throughout the year to make sure that we could help our Arizona school districts find the talent they need.
Overall, Arizona Teachers 2019 results –
- We had 2,779 people inquire about becoming an Arizona Teacher
- We had 1,084 new people apply to become an Arizona Teacher through our teacher certification program
- 342 people enrolled in Arizona Teachers
- 114 new teachers were hired through Arizona Teachers
It takes time to work through the process so it is great to see our pipeline of interested teachers growing so fast. It means we should double the number of new teachers in 2020.
