What Is the #NextTexasTeacher Scholarship?
Our #NextTexasTeacher is an Instagram photo contest – something we’ve never done before! We’re so excited to see what motivates you to teach. This scholarship aims to help one deserving individual fulfill their dream of becoming a teacher in Texas.
We launched our #NextTexasTeacher scholarship because it’s our mission to help as many teachers make it to the classroom as possible! This incredible opportunity will help a future Texas teacher’s career! Over the past year, we’ve been truly astonished by the incredible work carried out, and the resilience demonstrated by teachers across the nation. How Do I Enter the Contest?
We’ve made entry to our #NextTexasTeacher scholarship as simple as possible to allow all future teachers with the desire to make a positive change in the world a chance to win.
Our #NextTexasTeacher scholarship is an Instagram photo contest. If you’ve been picturing yourself as a teacher, snap a picture of what motivates you! You have until June 30th to post an UNLIMITED amount of photos on Instagram. Each photo equals one entry (granted you’ve completed the other requirements). To enter for the chance to win the #NextTexasTeacher scholarship, follow these simple four steps:
1. Apply to Texas Teachers for free
2. Follow @TexasTeachersACP on Instagram
3. Post a photo on Instagram of what inspires you to become a teacher
4. Tag your photo with #NextTexasTeacher
Are There Any Contest Rules?
The main rule is to have fun, and to show us what inspires you to become the #NextTexasTeacher! Once you follow the steps to enter, you can let your creativity shine through your photos. The number of times you can enter is limitless (more photos = more entries). Only those who are not yet enrolled in Texas Teacher before June 1st are eligible to win.
