This year marks 20 years of Teachers of Tomorrow guiding future educators on their path to the classroom. To celebrate, we’re highlighting 20 powerful stories from graduates who are making a difference across the country.
In our special anniversary series, “20 Years, 20 Stories,” we’re honoring the passionate, purpose-driven individuals who turned their dreams of teaching into reality—and are now changing lives every day.
First up: meet Tim Forse, a Texas high school history teacher and proud 2024 Teachers of Tomorrow graduate whose journey from parent to educator is rooted in service and a calling to lead by example.

A Calling to Serve
Tim’s journey into education was driven by a deep desire to lead by example for his own children.
“I wanted to show my children that service of the people is a great career,” Tim shares.
That sense of service and purpose led him to the classroom, where he now helps students connect with the past to better understand their present.
Finding His Place
Through Teachers of Tomorrow, Tim gained the tools to connect with each student as an individual.
“They helped me by preparing to be able to treat kids as they are—different from others.”
One of his most impactful moments came during his field observations.
“I had a great observer. He encouraged me in every way and reassured me that I am where I belong, in the classroom.”
Staying Inspired
Tim is motivated each year by the growth he sees in his students.
“Just seeing growth in the students every year,” he says, is what keeps his passion alive.
His advice to future educators?
“Don’t quit. The rewards always outweigh the negatives.”
