Texas Teachers is proud to announce that Ann Kucera will be the new Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Ann Kucera, a long-time trainer and curriculum writer with Texas Teachers, has recently retired from her central office administrative role in accountability for Spring Branch ISD. With her newfound time, Ann and Texas Teachers have teamed up to increase their focus on developing new curriculum and furthering their mission to constantly improve our pedagogical instruction. As the largest and fastest growing ACP, it is our quality commitment to stay abreast of cutting edge instructional strategies and the most relevant curriculum that provides the best opportunity for success for our first year teachers. The purpose of the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction is to ensure Texas Teachers interns receive the highest quality training in the industry. Ann has over 29 years of experience in public education in a diverse variety of placements both in the classroom and in campus and central office administration, and she has received numerous awards and recognitions for her excellence in the field. We are looking forward to working more closely with Ann and further utilizing her vast knowledge and expertise to continue to demonstrate why Texas Teachers is the premier ACP in Texas.
