Staying on Track & Learning to Navigate New Platforms

Teachers of Tomorrow is aware that this year’s recruiting efforts have invited a unique set of challenges. With these challenges, we remain committed to our mission of ensuring every student has the great teacher they deserve! Collectively, our team has managed to quickly transition all of our provided services to virtual platforms to continue helping districts fill their vacant teaching positions.

From webinars and virtual job fairs to virtual conferencing, we are constantly finding new ways to expand our reach. As always, there is a learning curve. While we are still optimistically seeking ways to further improve various aspects of virtual recruiting services, we are happy to share some fantastic discoveries and insights:

  • Increased Interest in Teaching: we are thrilled to witness more candidates than ever before stepping up and making the decision to become a teacher!
  • Program Allowances: Departments of Education recognize the difficulties many teacher candidates are currently facing and have made several program amendments and changes to accommodate the current needs.
  • Webinar Attendance Records: Our webinar attendance has skyrocketed by an unbelievable 2,300%! We are excited to host more webinars than ever before to deliver quality teacher preparation resources for candidates and districts.
  • Virtual Job Fair Success: We have taken our most popular events virtual this year – our Virtual Job Fairs! Our events have proven so successful, we are reporting higher attendance numbers than past, in-person job fairs!

We are absolutely elated to share these new updates with you! While we have found much success is several of our virtual recruiting assistance for districts, it has not proven all-encompassing. It is unfortunate that Virtual Conferences are not nearly as lucrative as one would hope. Here’s what we’re missing:

  • Traffic
  • Valuable Interactions
  • Networking Opportunities

We remain optimistic about the upcoming conferences we are sponsoring but are reluctant to invest the same amount in virtual conferences as in-person conferences. We will continue to utilize the online platforms and services which are working well!
